Jeffrey William Kellogg

Biographical Information[edit]

Jeff Kellogg was a major league umpire.

Kellogg began his career in the Appalachian League in 1985 and moved on to the Midwest League, Eastern League, Triple-A Alliance and International League. He umpired his first National League game in 1991 and became a full-time umpire in 1993. Kellogg worked the 1997 All-Star Game, 2000 World Series, 2003 World Series, 2008 World Series, 2009 All-Star Game and 2010 World Series. He retired following the 2019 season, habving reached the rank of crew chief.

He is the brother-in-law of fellow umpires Bill Welke and Tim Welke.
