Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Jayhawk Owens was signed by scout Cal Ermer for the Minnesota Twins as a 3rd round pick in the 1990 amateur draft. He was also known simply as "J. Owens".
Owens was a coach for the Michigan Battle Cats in 2000 and Lexington Legends in 2001.
