Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder James Reeves was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 16th round of the 1977 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that summer with the Calgary Cardinals and led the Pioneer League with a .376 average.

Following his playing days, Reeves was a New York Mets scout. He signed Darrell Ceciliani, Michael Devaney, Michael Conforto, Eddie Kunz, Matt Lindstrom, Brandon Nimmo and Greg Peavey.
