Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Michael Devaney played in the New York Mets system from 2004 to 2007. He was taken by the club in the 23rd round of the 2004 amateur draft and began his pro career by going 5-0 with a 1.95 ERA in 14 starts for the Brooklyn Cyclones. With the Hagerstown Suns in 2005, he was 10-4 with a 3.88 mark and in 2006, between the St. Lucie Mets and Binghamton Mets, he went 12-5 with a 2.13 ERA, completing four games and allowing just 102 hits in 147 2/3 frames. His career ended after 2007, when he went 6-9 with a 4.85 ERA in 22 games (20 starts) for Binghamton.

Overall, he went 33-18 with a 3.24 ERA in 95 games (75 starts).

He was signed by scout Jim Reeves.
