Biographical Information[edit]
Jaime Pedroza played in the minor leagues and CPBL.
Pedroza was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 9th round of the 2007 Amateur Draft, and he hit .360/.413/.569 with 8 homers in his first season for the Ogden Raptors. He then had a .290/.342/.441 batting line with the Inland Empire 66ers in 2008, and he batted .260/.361/.433 with 15 homers and 36 steals for the Great Lakes Loons in 2009. He was 6th in steals (between Alexi Amarista and Blake Tekotte) and 6th in RBI (between Ryan Flaherty and Billy Nowlin) in the Midwest League in 2009. Pedroza then had a .280/.378/.402 batting line with the Chattanooga Lookouts in 2010, and he hit .250/.358/.399 in 2011. He became a free agent after the 2011 season.
The Californian hit .310/.398/.565 for the Lancaster Barnstormers in 2012, and he signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves. He struggled as his batting line was .193/.279/.358 for the Mississippi Braves, and he batted .281/.348/.362 in 2013. Pedorza then hit .225/.281/.339 for the Birmingham Barons of the Chicago White Sox system, and he was released in July. The Cleveland Indians then picked him up, and he recorded a .358/.403/.567 batting line for the Akron RubberDucks.
Pedorza signed with the CTBC Brothers of the CPBL in 2015, and he hit .301/.352/.514 with 7 homers before he was released in June. He then went to the Leones de Yucatan of the Mexican League, and his batting line was .305/.378/.462. He slumped to .237/.372/.344 in 2016, and he also had a .241/.306/.406 batting line in 39 games for the Vaqueros Laguna. He hit .306/.425/.435 for Laguna in 2017, and that was his last season as a professional player.
