Biographical Information

Hyun-taek Jung was drafted by the LG Twins in the first round of the 1998 KBO draft, and he was 10-for-38 in 1999. He only played 8 games with the big club in 2000, and he went 1-for-8 in 2001 before the Twins traded him to the Hyundai Unicorns for Man-ho Choi. Jung was 9-for-43 in 2001, and he stayed in the minors until the Twins released him in 2005. After spending some times in the military, Jung signed with the EDA Rhinos of Taiwan in 2013. He was 6-for-25 in the minors, then he retired as a professional player.
