Biographical Information[edit]
Hsiang Chang has caught in the CPBL. His uncle was CPBL player Kuang-Sheng Chou.
Chang represented Taiwan in the 2015 U-12 Baseball World Cup. The Uni-President Lions drafted him in the second round of the 2021 CPBL Draft, and he spent his first three seasons in the minor league. He crushed a pinch-hit walk-off grand slam against the Fubon Guardians on June 19, 2022. He also represented Taiwan in the 2022 U-23 Baseball World Cup. Chang debuted on September 18, 2023. He pinch-hit for Dai-An Lin in the 8th inning, but Tzu-En Chang retired him. That was the only at-bat for him in the 2023 season. On May 4, 2024, Chang collected his first career hit and RBI against former MLB pitcher Jen-Ho Tseng.
