Biographical Information[edit]
Hisaya Nammoku played for Honda Suzuka in the Industrial League after college. [1] He represented Japan in the 2022 Asian Games. Nammoku debuted against Laos as Takehiro Tsujino's backup at catcher, and drew a RBI walk against Thor Hue. He then missed the next three games as Tsujino and Ryo Kinami took all the chances behind the dish. In the Bronze Medal Game, he replaced Tsujino in the 8th inning, reached with Jin Yang's error and help Japan beat China and win the Bronze. He handled 7 chances error-free for the event.[2]
