He tied Baek-ho Kang, Sherten Apostel and Saul Favela for the doubles lead (4) and tied for 4th with 8 walks. [1] The Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, Hanshin Tigers and Chiba Lotte Marines all selected him in the first round of the 2017 NPB draft, and the Marines won the lottery. Yasuda spent his first two seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues, only playing 17 games combined for the big club.[2] He also represented Japan in the 2018 U-23 Baseball World Cup, hitting .393 with a homer and won the MVP. He tied for 5th with 8 runs. [3] He led the minor Eastern League with 19 homers and 82 RBI in 2019, then he was sent to the Criollos de Caguas of Puerto Rican Winter League and he hit .349/.473/.465 there.[4]

The Osaka native secured the starting third baseman spot in 2020, and hit .221/.326/.321 with 6 homers. He played well in the 2020 PLCS, collecting a 2-run home run off Kodai Senga in Game 1. He went 3-for-5 with a 2 RBI double against Nao Higashihama in Game 2, but couldn't stop the Hawks from sweeping the Marines. Yasuda extended his stable hitting, as had a .242/.323/.362 batting line with 8 homers in 2021, then batted .263/.343/.397 with 9 homers in 2022. He was selected into the 2023 NPB All-Star Games, hit a single against Suguru Iwazaki in the first Game, then went 1-for-3, with a single against Trevor Bauer in Game 2.[5] He ended up hitting .238/.318/.361 with 9 homers in this season. In the 2023 PLCS, Yasuda became a postseason hero again. He was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI in Game 1 in the first stage, then hit a walk-off single against Ryosuke Otsu and sent the Marines to the final stage. He was 2-for-4 with a clutch game-tying RBI double against Taisuke Yamaoka to help the Marines win Game 2 in the final stage, but went 2-for-12 in the rest of the series and the Marines were beaten by the Orix Buffaloes.[6]
