High-A Central
The High-A Central was established in 2021 as part of the reorganization of Minor League Baseball into the Professional Development League. It was one of three High-A sections of the League, the others being the High-A East and the High-A West. It was largely made up of former teams of the Midwest League which played its last season in 2019. The league lasted one year as in 2022, it was re-rebranded as the Midwest League.
