Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Henry Sanchez was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 2005 amateur draft. He was signed by scout John Leavitt for a $900,000 bonus and made his pro debut that summer with the GCL Twins, where he hit .229 in 21 games. His struggles at the plate continued in 2006, splitting the season between the Beloit Snappers (.202 in 48 games) and the Elizabethton Twins (.220 in 12 games).
