Biographical Information

John Leavitt played in the minors and Europe and has been a scout for over 15 years.

Leavitt pitched two games for the 1978 Salem Senators. In two innings, he allowed two hits, four walks and four runs (two earned). He was a player-coach for the Skellefteå Basebollklubb in the Swedish Elitserien from 1983-1986. In 1994, he joined the Minnesota Twins as a scout. He has signed Alex Burnett, Travis Harrison, Aaron Hicks, Chris Parmelee, Henry Sanchez, Anthony Slama, Tyler Wells and Brian Wolfe.
