Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Greg Holle played in the Milwaukee Brewers minor league system from 2010 to 2014. He played in the independent ranks in 2015.

He was originally drafted by the New York Yankees in the 35th round of the 2007 amateur draft, but did not sign. He was then taken by the Brewers in the 11th round of the 11th round of the 2010 amateur draft and did ink a contract.

In his first full season, 2011, he had 19 saves in 41 relief appearances for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. He reached double digits in saves again in 2013, when he shut the door in 10 games for the Huntsville Stars (he also played briefly for the Triple-A Nashville Sounds that year, allowing no runs in two innings). In 2014, he was 3-2 with a 2.11 ERA in 31 appearances between Brevard County and Huntsville. In the winter, he playe for the Bravos de Margarita in the Venezuelan Winter League. In 2015, with the independent Laredo Lemurs, he went 3-5 with a 2.00 ERA in 14 starts.

He is the son of former major league pitcher Gary Holle.
