Biographical Information[edit]
Glenn Liebhardt was the son of Glenn Liebhardt Sr.. Glenn the son appeared three seasons in the majors, in 1930, 1936 and 1938. He got most of his work in 1936, when he appeared in 24 games for the 1936 St. Louis Browns, managed by Rogers Hornsby. Glenn was eleven years younger than teammate Jim Bottomley. While Glenn's 8.78 ERA was not impressive, it must be considered within the context of the team's ERA of 6.24.
He also played ten seasons in the minors.
His father had pitched for Cleveland, and Glenn the son was born in Cleveland, OH, although he never pitched for the Cleveland Indians.
