Geoff Kellogg peaked at AA.
Kellogg was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 17th round of the 1989 amateur draft. In his pro debut, he was 4-3 with a save and a 2.67 ERA for the AZL Brewers. He was 6th in the Arizona League in ERA to help his club win the pennant. The next season, he went 2-1 with two saves and a 2.17 ERA for the Helena Brewers. Promoted to the Beloit Brewers in 1991, the right-hander had a 8-6, 4.44 record with 128 strikeouts and 56 walks in 133 2/3 innings. He also threw a no-hitter that year.
On March 26, 1991, Kellogg was dealt with Gary Sheffield to the San Diego Padres for Jose Valentin, Ricky Bones and Matt Mieske. Assigned to the High Desert Mavericks, he was 7-9 with a 4.94 ERA. He wrapped up his career with the 1993 Wichita Wranglers, going 7-11 with a 5.37 ERA. Overall, he had a 28-30, 4.43 record in 103 games in the minors.
