Biographical Information[edit]

Gene Corbett played parts of three years for the Philadelphia Phillies, hitting .120 with two home runs in 37 games. He began his minor league career playing three seasons for Winnipeg, and was in the International League for parts of each season from 1937-1944. His playing career continued through 1952. He is one of four players with the last name Corbett: Sherman, Joe and Doug Corbett are the others.
