Biographical Information

Fred Applegate pitched briefly for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1904, making three starts and going 1-2, 6.43.

Later in life, Applegate and Bob Lindemann were honored by a Williamsport, PA franchise for their work in the old Tri-State League. Applegate's brief big league manager, Connie Mack, was on hand to reminisce about their experiences at the turn of the century.
