Biographical Information[edit]
Bob Lindemann was with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1901 in Connie Mack's first year as their manager, and the first year of their existence as an American League team.
In 1904 (and at least one more year) he played for Williamsport.
An obituary in 1951 noted that Lindemann had lived for many decades in Williamsport, PA, where he operated a stable, a laundry, and an animal shelter. Late in life he and Fred Applegate were honored by the Williamsport team, and Connie Mack was there to reminisce about their experiences at the turn of the century.
