Biographical Information[edit]
Florian Peyrichou has played as an infielder for Team France. He started at short in the 2003 Baseball World Cup, hitting .211/.318/.211 and fielding .917. He had a better OBP than the team mark (.300). He hit .222/.222/.278 with two steals in two tries in the 2005 European Championship; the teenager started at first base for France but fielded .886 with more errors (5) than hits (4). In the 2007 European Championship, he hit .286/.355/.464 with 5 RBI in 8 games. He led France in average and was second to Sébastien Hervé in slugging and OBP. In the 2007 Division Elite, he hit .362/.460/.562 for the Lions de Savigny with 37 runs and 20 walks in 28 games. He stole 11 bases in 13 tries. He fielded .975 at second base.
While playing for Frank Phillips College in 2008, he hit .432 and slugged .720; the team had been graced by another Frenchman, Joris Bert, in 2006-2007. Returning to France for the summer, he batted .336/.457/.500 for the Lions with 32 runs in 28 games. He fielded .957 at second base.
In 2014, he moved to the Templiers de Sénart, taking over for Dylan Mayeux at second base, with Mayeux moving to shortstop.
