Biographical Information

Catcher Fla Strawn played three seasons in the Texas Rangers' organization, reaching AAA.

Strawn was picked by Texas in the 33rd round of the 1978 amateur draft. He hit .307/?/.433 in his pro debut that summer for the Butte Copper Kings. He split 1979 between the Tulsa Drillers (.280/.343/.371 in 58 G) and Tucson Toros (5 for 39, 2B, 2 BB). In 1980, he wrapped up his career with Tulsa (.279/.343/.475 in 18 G) and the Charleston Charlies (.174/.219/.217 in 29 G).
