Biographical Information[edit]
Ferdinand Recto was 0 for 4 for the Philippines in the 2001 Baseball World Cup. He was 1 for 7 in the 2002 Asian Games, getting his lone hit off Yueh-Ping Lin (one of two hits that day for the Philippines). He was in the 2003 Asian Championship then helped the Philippines take Gold in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games. He went 1 for 14 in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup and fielded .615 in left field with 5 errors and 8 putouts. He was with the Philippines for the 2006 Asian Games. He went 0 for 3 with an error and 3 putouts in the 2007 Asian Championship. He won a Silver with the Philippines in the 2007 Southeast Asian Games.
