Talos was signed by Seattle Mariners scout Emilio Carrasquel in May 2012. [1] He made his pro debut that summer, mostly playing the corner outfield for the VSL Mariners and hitting .283/.368/.367. Back with the same team a year later, he batted .266/.364/.395. He won Silver with Brazil in the 2013 South American Championship. [2]
He fell to .147/.252/.198 for the 2014 VSL Mariners to finish his pro career at .223/.321/.313 with 38 runs and 35 RBI in 114 games (347 PA), fielding .948 with 14 outfield assists in 86 games (he also caught two games). In the 2016 South American Championship, he hit .267/.389/.400 with five runs in four games in the first round, scoring four times against Chile. After going 0-for-4 in the semifinals, he was 2 for 3 with a hit-by-pitch, two runs and a RBI from the 9 slot in the title game win over rival Argentina. [3]
Felipe was listed on Brazil's roster for the 2018 South American Championship but did not play whereas a Minowa (Neil Minowa?) who was not on the initial roster shows up in the box scores. He was back with Brazil for the 2019 Pan American Games Qualifier, he started every game, going 2 for 13. [4]
