Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Fehlandt Lentini was a longtime Independent Leagues player who played from 2001-2017.
Lentini was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 41st round of the 1996 Amateur Draft from Napa Valley College.
In 2001, Lentini played for three Houston Astros affiliates, and made it to their AA affiliate in 2003 with the Round Rock Express.
On February 19, 2015 the Sonoma Stompers of the Pacific Association named him as player-manager for the 2015 season. After compiling a 25-10 record, Lentini was replaced by Takashi Miyoshi. He then finished the season with the Long Island Ducks.
Over Lentini's 1,700 plus-game career, the Santa Rosa native amassed over 2,000 hits. Lentini also had over 500 stolen bases and a lifetime average of .303
