Vizcaino started at short for Guatemala in the 2013 Bolivarian Games, hitting .267/.313/.333 with six runs in seven games. He fielded .864. His 9th-inning run off Carlos Mory of Venezuela tied the semifinal game, but Guatemala lost in 11 innings. Hewas signed by Baltimore Orioles scouts Fred Ferreira and Ronald Hurtarte in April 2014. He hit .229/.339/.250 with 9 runs and 6 RBI in 20 games for the DSL Orioles 1, fielding .960 with six passed balls in 18 games and 17 opponent steals in 25 tries.

In the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, the teenager was Guatemala's starting catcher. He went 3 for 14 with a double and two walks in five games, fielding .947 with 3 passed balls and throwing out 3 of 8 potential base-stealers. He had half of Guatemala's walks in the tournament and joined Manuel Hernández and Luis Revolorio as their only players to hit a double. He tied fellow O's farmhand Juan Montes for second on the team in OBP, behind Hernández. He hit .307/.415/.364 for the 2015 DSL Orioles 1 but struggled the next summer in limited time for the DSL Orioles 1 (3 for 22, 3 BB) and GCL Orioles (0 for 1).

He hit only .190 with a .381 slugging in the round-robin phase 2017 Central American Games but was a sparkplug from the top of the order for Guatemala, with 7 runs and 7 RBI in 5 games. He tied Edgar Muñoz, Ismael Munguía and Ibrahim McKenzie for second in runs (one behind Gerald Chin) and tied Ofilio Castro for third in RBI. In the Bronze Medal Game, he led off with a homer off Marcelo Parker but the game was rained out in the second with Guatemala up 1-0 and both teams got the Bronze. Had the game gone into the books, his two homers would have tied Elmer Reyes for the event lead.
