Biographical Information[edit]

Eric Cendejas has pitched as high as AAA.

Cendejas was taken by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 33rd round of the 2010 amateur draft; Scott Richardson was the scout. That summer, he pitched for the Orem Owlz (1-0, 4 R in 4 2/3 IP) and AZL Angels (3-1, Sv, 1.96 in 15 G). In 2011, he was with Orem (1-0, 2 Sv, 3.16 in 15 G), Inland Empire 66ers (4 R in 7 IP) and the Arkansas Travelers (0 R in 2 1/3 IP). He spent all of 2012 with Inland Empire, going 4-5 with 5 saves and a 2.87 ERA in 47 games, walking only 7 in 62 2/3 innings. He tied for 10th in the Angels chain in games pitched.

In 2013, he was with the 66ers (6-3, 3 Sv, 3.69 in 48 G) and Salt Lake Bees (6 R in 12 IP). He tied David Carpenter for 5th in the Angels chain with 53 pitching appearances.
