Duluth Dukes

From BR Bullpen

The Duluth Dukes replaced the Duluth White Sox who played in the Northern League in 1934.

On July 24, 1948, the team bus of the Duluth Dukes hit a truck near St. Paul, MN en route from Eau Claire, WI to St. Cloud, MN. Manager Red Treadwell, who was driving, was killed along with five others (four of them players).
