Dick Groch

Dick Groch has been a long-time scout.

Groch was a basketball star in college. He coached St. Clair County Community College in the 1970s and coached for Team USA in the 1979 Pan American Games and for Team Canada in the 1983 Pan American Games and 1985 Intercontinental Cup. He scouted for the New York Yankees and Milwaukee Brewers. He signed Derek Jeter, Hal Morris, Scott Kamieniecki, Mark Hutton, Hensley Meulens, Drew Henson, Casey Close, Tim Belcher and Tim Birtsas.
