Biographical Information

Daniel Orlický pitched for the Slovakian national team in the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers, allowing two hits and two walks in 3 1/3 innings while fanning four. Playing for Apollo Bratislava, he was 1 for 6 with two runs in the 2016 Federations Cup. He was 0 for 3 with a HBP in the 2018 Federations Cup and allowed seven runs (five earned) on six hits in 1 1/3 IP. He coached for Slovakia in the 2021 European Championship, the only member of their managerial/coaching staff who was not also playing for the team - coaches Tomáš Biskorovájny and Jakub Horáček were also outfielders, while manager Martin Brunegraf played 2B.
