Tomáš Biskorovajny was one of the top performers for Slovakia in the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers. Hitting cleanup behind Jan Jablonka, the 21-year-old hit .417/.500/.500 and was named the tournament's Best Defensive Player for his flawless play in center field. He also pitched four shutout innings to get the win against Poland. He finished second in the event in average, 3rd in OBP, tied for 3rd in slugging and tied for first in ERA. He lost MVP honors to the Ukraine's Dmytro Nelipa.
For 2009, Biskorovajny joined Jablonka in playing in the Czech Republic's Extraliga. With MZLU Express Brno, Tomáš hit .261/.386/.377; he only pitched 1/3 of an inning.
