Biographical Information[edit]

Dale Stebbins was a long-time college coach.

Stebbins played semipro baseball for 10 years after finishing college. He taught and coached at Gresham High School for three years and Sam Barlow High School for 8 years. From 1977-1999, he was head coach of Mount Hood Community College and returned for one season in 2007. He won 540 games for MHCC and 8 Coach of the Year awards. Among his products were Dave Veres and Dan Carlson. Stebbins was assistant coach for the Aloha Knights when they won the 2004 National Baseball Congress World Series then managed them to a 5th-place finish in 2005. He was volunteer assistant coach at the University of Portland from 2010-2012.
