The Houston Astros and Milwaukee Brewers shared a Dominican Summer League team for two years. The Astros and Brewers had both pared back from the full DSL Astros and DSL Brewers team sthey had sponsored since 1991. Both organizations would split a team in the DSL in 1996 (the DSL Brewers/White Sox and DSL Astros/Red Sox) before returning to a full team in 1997. Horacio Estrada played for them.
