Biographical Information[edit]

Chu-Kuan Lee pitched in the CPBL for 3 years.

Lee represented Taiwan in the 2007 World Port Tournament. The La New Bears drafted him in the first round of the 2009 CPBL Draft, and he pitched well in the CPBL minor leagues in 2010. He led the league with 36 appearances and 9 saves while having a 2.02 ERA. Thus, he won a spot with the big club in 2011, but his ERA was 5.76 in 32 games. The Bears then traded him to the Brother Elephants for Kuan-Jen Chen, and he broke out in 2012. Lee notched 19 holds with a 3.99 ERA in 52 games, ranking 7th in appearances (between Ming-Chieh Hsu and Chien-San Kao) and 2nd in holds (1 behind Kao). However, his ERA rose to 7.62 in 13 games in 2013, and he didn't pitch any games with the big club in 2014. Lee was released after the 2014 season, and his professional career ended.

Overall, Lee was 2-6 with a 5.22 ERA, struck out 48 and pitched 117 1/3 innings in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
