Biographical Information[edit]

Ching-Ching Huang pitched in the Taiwanese national team and the CPBL.

Huang represented Taiwan and won Bronze in the 1994 Baseball World Cup, 1994 Asian Games and the 1995 Intercontinental Cup. The Chinatrust Whales signed Huang when they were founded in 1997. Huang was 1-9 with a 5.65 ERA in his rookie year, and even tied the league record for 9 consecutive loss. Although he didn't pitched well in the league, Huang still being selected by the fans to start in the All-Star Game. Kun-Han Lin blasted a solo shot on his first pitch in the All-Star Game. The Tainan native adapted pro baseball soon, as he recorded a 7-3 with elite 3.89 ERA in 1998. Huang was 6-2 with a 3.34 ERA in 1999, but the Whales released Huang with another two All-Star player Shu-Mu Chueh and Hung-Yuan Lin due to unknown reason. The Sinon Bulls signed all three players, but Huang struggled with new team. His ERA rose to 6.38 in 2001, and the Bulls released him again when he allowed 4 runs in just 1 2/3 innings pitched.

Overall, Huang was 17-19 with a 4.87 ERA and pitched 292 innings in five seasons in the CPBL.
