Biographical Information[edit]

Chin-Hsiung Yang played in the CPBL for 6 years.

Yang was drafted by the Sinon Bulls in the second round of the 2003 CPBL Draft, and he hit .217/.308/.348 in 11 games in his rookie year. He was 2-for-5 in the 2003 Taiwan Series, and the Brother Elephants beat the Bulls in 6 games. Yang then recorded a .250/.317/.298 in 124 at-bats in 2004, and he was 0-for-1 in the 2004 Taiwan Series. The Bulls beat the Uni-President Lions in 7 games, and Yang won his first Taiwan Series title. His batting line fell to .212/.241/.250 in 2005, so he only got 27 at-bats in 2006. After hitting .205/.287/.269 in 2007, then Bulls released him, and the Chinatrust Whales picked him up. He had a .146/.234/.195 batting line in 43 games in 2008, and his professional career ended when the Whales were expelled after the 2008 season. He became the coach of CTBC Business School in 2021.

Overall, Yang had hit .217/.283/.270 with 75 hits in 6 seasons in the CPBL.
