Biographical Information[edit]

Chien-Feng Ko played in the CPBL for 6 years.

Ko represented Taiwan in the 1995 World Junior Championship. The Uni-President Lions signed him in 1999, and he went 3-for-20 in his rookie year. He had a .200/.274/.360 batting line in 2000, and he was 0-for-2 in the 2000 Taiwan Series. The Lions beat the Sinon Bulls in 7 games, and he won his first title. Ko improved to .266/.341/.394 in 2001, and he went 1-for-6 with a steal in the 2001 Taiwan Series; the Brothers beat the Lions in 4 games. He collected 4 triples with a .273/.338/.446 slash line in 2002, and he crushed 5 homers with a .259/.337/.424 batting line was in 2003. His batting line fell to .202/.360/.339 in 2004, and he was 0-for-7 in the 2004 Taiwan Series. The Bulls beat the Lions in 7 games this time. Ko was released after the '04 season, and the Macoto Cobras signed him. However, he only hit .212/.271/.293 in 82 games for them, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Ko had hit .235/.318/.369 with 190 hits and 14 homers in 7 seasons in the CPBL.
