Biographical Information[edit]
Chad Moeller played eleven seasons in the majors. He was almost exclusively a catcher.
He was at USC from 1994-1996, the same years as Jacque Jones was there. He was drafted in the 7th round in of the 1996 amateur draft while Jones was drafted in the 2nd round. They both played for the Minnesota Twins in 2000.
Chad was on the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001, a team that won the 2001 World Series, but his best years were 2002 and 2003, both years when he slugged over .400 for the Diamondbacks.
His most at-bats in one season came with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2004.
Moeller also has a career minor league slugging percentage of .421 during 12 seasons in the minors.
Both Moeller and McKay Christensen were born in 1975 in Upland, CA.
Notable Achievement[edit]
- Won a World Series with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001 (he did not play in the World Series)
