Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Chad Hutchinson is the son of former minor leaguer Lloyd Hutchinson, brother of minor leaguer Trevor Hutchinson, and brother-in-law of Todd Walker. After leaving baseball, Chad played in the NFL as a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears.
He was originally called up by the St. Louis Cardinals on September 27, 1999 and spent the remainder of the season on the active roster but did not appear in a game. He eventually made three appearances for the Cardinals early in the 2001 season, but did not stick.
