Category talk:Brazilian National Team Players
I just love the Brazilian names with the Latino-Japanese combos. Rodrigo Miyamoto, Marcelo Arai, Reinaldo Sato...great names - --Mischa 13:34, 25 February 2008 (EST)
Jean Tome is #50. Our 23rd senior national team category to 50 players - the 16 teams from the first two World Baseball Classics, then Nicaragua, Spain, the Netherlands Antilles, Britain, Germany, France and Brazil. Belgium (48), Greece (47) and Croatia (45) are all closing in. - --Mischa 13:57, 15 November 2012 (EST)
Bo Takahashi brings us to 100. They are the 21st country there. They join the USA, Japan, South Korea, Cuba, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Venezuela, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, China, Nicaragua, Panama, Spain, Great Britain, South Africa and Germany. Since they've hit 50, they've passed the Netherlands Antilles and France. - --Mischa (talk) 12:19, 10 January 2017 (EST)
Katsuji Sei is the 150th player here. The 20th nation to 150 (11 of the top 20 are now from the Americas), following the USA, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Cuba, Italy, the Netherlands, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Panama, China, Great Britain, Spain and Colombia. They've passed South Africa and Germany and been passed by Colombia. - Mischa (talk) 17:11, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
Our 200th entry here is Igor Kimura. That makes them the 17th to that mark, after the USA, Japan, South Korea, Cuba, Taiwan, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Venezuela, Mexico, Italy, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, Australia and Colombia. They passed China, Britain and Spain since they got to 150. Interesting how Arai gets mentioned back in 2008 and is still active in 2022, one of the oldest players for Brazil by this point. - Mischa (talk) 16:28, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
To 250, with Gabriel Do Carmo. Up to 15th, following US, Japan, Cuba, South Korea, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Panama, Italy and Colombia to 250. 11 teams from the Americas now in the top 15 as they passed the Netherlands and Australia; only 3 Asian teams and one European ahead from non-American teams. No other Americas team is close - Guatemala is 24th at 140 and has few red links left. - Mischa (talk) 17:28, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
