Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Carlos Sanchez played in the Cincinnati Reds system from 2009 to 2013, peaking at Single A. After a ho-hum initial campaign, he hit .348/.435/.471 with 3 home runs, 44 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 71 games for the DSL Reds in 2010; he had 35 walks to just 21 strikeouts. He won the Dominican Summer League MVP and was was a Mid- an Post-Season All-Star. His other season of note was 2012, when he hit .308/.346/.574 with 8 home runs, 55 RBI and a Pioneer League-leading 12 triples (#2 was David Dahl with 10) in 61 games for the Billings Mustangs.

Overall, Sanchez hit .285/.341/.462 with 25 home runs and 203 RBI in 296 games.
