Team History[edit]
The Brockton Rox are a team that played in various independent leagues from 2002-2011. Based in a suburb of Boston, MA, it derived its name from local resident heavyweight boxer Rocky Marciano.
In 2009, Justine Siegal became the first female coach of a male professional baseball team.
Beginning in 2012, the club transitioned from a professional club to a collegiate summer team, joining the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
