Brian Grant pitched in the minor leagues and the TML.

Grant was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 24th round of the 1993 Amateur Draft, and he was 5-4 with a 2.84 ERA for the Medicine Hat Blue Jays in his first season. He went 5-3 with a 3.63 ERA for the St. Catharines Blue Jays in 1994, and he left the Jays system. Grant then went to the Thunder Bay Whiskey Jacks, but he allowed 11 runs in 6 1/3 innings in 1997. He also recorded a 9.40 ERA in 10 games for the Sioux Falls Canaries, and he was 4-9 with a 6.06 ERA in 1998. Grant struggled again as his ERA was 6.75 in 9 games in 1999, and he also recorded a 6.20 ERA in 20 appearances for the Adirondack Lumberjacks. He pitched 33 games with a 5.21 ERA for the Sonoma County Crushers in 2000, then he improved to 2.11 ERA with 4 saves in 36 relief outings in 2001. After having a 3.50 ERA in 37 games in 2002, Grant went to the Chianan Luka in July. However, his ERA was 4.31 in 14 games, then he was released. He had a 15.43 ERA for the Amarillo Dillas in 2003, and he surrendered 9 runs in 5 1/3 innings for the Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks. The 2003 season was his last season as a professional player.
