Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Brett Tanos played in the Colorado Rockies system from 2010 to 2013, peaking briefly at Double-A. He was taken by the Rockies in the 10th round of the 2010 amateur draft, one pick ahead of pitcher Mario Hollands. He was signed by scout Jon Lukens.

He debuted with a .270/.362/.382, 1 home run, 29 RBI performance with the Casper Ghosts in 2010, then hit .285/.401/.445 with 10 home runs, 44 RBI and 71 walks in 111 games for the Asheville Tourists in 2011. He was a South Atlantic League Mid-Season All-Star that year. With the Modesto Nuts in 2012, he hit .275/.395/.400 with 6 homers, 51 RBI, 10 steals and 78 walks in 111 games. After collecting just one hit in 10 at-bats for the Tulsa Drillers in 2013, his career was over.

Overall, he batted .276/.388/.410 with 17 home runs, 124 RBI, 20 stolen bases and 181 walks in 291 games.
