Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Brent Del Chiaro was selected by the Anaheim Angels in the 41st round of the 2001 Amateur Draft and played seven seasons in their organization, reaching as high as the AAA level.

In 2007, Del Chiaro played 5 games with the Salt Lake Bees before the Angels promoted him to the major leagues as a bullpen catcher, effectively ending his playing career. He began his coaching career the next year as a hitting coach for the Orem Owlz. In 2009-2010 he coached hitters for the Cedar Rapids Kernels before being promoted to manager for the 2011 season. Del Chiaro managed the AZL Angels in 2012. He spent the next four years as a hitting coach for the Inland Empire 66ers (2013-2015) and Arkansas Travelers (2016). to complete his tenure in the Angels organization. After the 2015 season Del Chiaro coached hitters for the Mesa Solar Sox in the Arizona Fall League (AFL).

Del Chiaro moved to the Milwaukee Brewers' chain as hitting coach for the AZL Brewers in 2017-2018. He returned to the AFL in 2017 as hitting coach for the Salt River Rafters. Del Chiaro was the hitting coach for the AZL Brewers Blue in 2019 and was slated to return to the Blue squad in 2020 before COVID-19 shut down the minor league season. He also picked up additional responsibilities in 2020 as assistant hitting coordinator for the Brewers' Arizona operation. He retained this role in 2021 while also working as the hitting coach for the ACL Brewers Blue team. Del Chiaro moved up to minor league hitting coordinator in 2022 and remained there through the 2023 season.
