Biographical Information[edit]

Starting pitcher Brandon Sinnery played in the minor leagues from 2012 to 2015.

After not being drafted following a four-year career at the University of Michigan, Sinnery signed on in the independent leagues, playing for the Lincoln Saltdogs and London Rippers/Road Warriors in 2012. That year, he was 9-2 with a 3.08 ERA in 15 games (14 starts), walking only 19 batters in 102 1/3 innings. The Arizona Diamondbacks signed him for 2013 and he went 10-8 with a 3.93 ERA in 25 games (23 starts) between the South Bend Silver Hawks and Visalia Rawhide, walking only 29 batters in 153 1/3 innings. He was a Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star that year. In 2014, he went 14-7 with a 4.02 ERA in 28 starts for Visalia, again showing good control with only 44 walks in 170 1/3 innings. He was 9-7 with a 4.33 ERA in 27 starts between two clubs in 2015 before being traded to the Chicago White Sox for cash on March 18, 2016. On April 1, he retired.

Overall, he was 42-24 with a 3.91 ERA in 95 games (92 starts) spread over four seasons.
