Biographical Information[edit]
Brady North graduated from Cumberland University in 2014 and helped his team win the 2014 NAIA College World Series. After college, he played professionally for two years in the Frontier League with the Washington Wild Things (2015) and Lake Erie Crushers (2016).
Even before completing his playing career, North started a second career as a baseball coach. He was the hitting coach for two seasons at Gaither High School and helped lead them to a 2016 state championship. He became a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater, Cumberland University, in 2017-2018. North joined the professional coaching ranks with the Tampa Bay Rays as the hitting coach for the GCL Rays in 2019. He was scheduled to be a coach for the Charlotte Stone Crabs in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19. North was coach of the Bowling Green Hot Rods in 2021. In 2022, he was promoted to assistant hitting coach with the major league Rays, sharing the job with Dan DeMent.
