Biographical Information[edit]
Bobby Goff played in the minors from 1923-1941, mostly in and around Texas, amassing 2200 hits and 249 steals in 1950 games. He was a minor league manager from 1934-1942. He then became a scout for the St. Louis Browns from 1943-1946. He then turned to the executive suite as General Manager of Wichita Falls (1947, 1952) in the Big State League and Dallas (1948-1951) in the Texas League, while also managing Wichita Falls in 1947 and Dallas in 1949. He then returned to scouting, where he was with the Cleveland Indians from 1953-1972.
