Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Billy White was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 3rd round of the 1989 amateur draft. He played in the minors through 1996 in the Cubs (1989-1993) and Colorado Rockies (1994-1996) chains. White finally made AAA in his last season but hit only .243/.321/.327 for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
White was hitting coach for the Asheville Tourists in 1997-1999 and 2001-2002, Dayton Dragons in 2003, Potomac Cannons in 2004, and Sarasota Reds in 2005.
