Biographical Information[edit]
Beom-seok Kim has played in the KBO and for the South Korea national baseball team.
Kim was drafted by the LG Twins in the first round of the 2023 KBO draft, and he hit .111/.138/.259 in 10 games in 2023. He then represented South Korea in the 2023 Asian Championship. He was 0-for-3 against Chinese Taipei, and he went 1-for-2 with 2 RBI against Hong Kong. Kim had a 1-for-1 record against State of Palestine and he was 2-for-3 against the Philippines. He went 2-for-4 with a solo shot against Raiku Katayama of Japan, and it was the first homer ever in the Taipei Dome. In the Bronze Medal game, Kim went 1-for-3 with a RBI and Korea beat the Philippines with a 7-0 score to win Bronze. The first baseman was named the event's All-Star DH. Kim played 70 games in 2024 for the big club, and his batting line was .241/.306/.377 with 6 dingers.
