Biographical Information

Austin Weymouth has played baseball in the United States, The Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. His brother Jordan Weymouth played briefly in the minors.

He set his high school's record for average (.527) as a senior. Austin played collegiate baseball at Arizona State University, Scottsdale Community College (going to the 2007 Division II Junior College World Series then hitting .303 in 2008), and University of Massachusetts Amherst.

In 2011, he went to Europe to play for the Cologne Cardinals in 2. Bundesliga. He played in 8 games with Cologne with the team going undefeated. During that time Austin led the 2. Bundesliga in nearly every offensive category .593/1.074/.613 with 16 hits, 3 doubles, 2 triples, 2 Home Runs, 9 steals in 9 tries, 2 walks, 13 runs and 13 RBI in 8 games

His offensive outburst led to UVV from the Netherlands Dutch Major League acquiring his contract from Cologne . He hit .267/.347/.400 in 2011 through 22 games and .344/.408/.442 with 30 RBI in 40 games in 2012. He was second in the 2012 Hoofdklasse in doubles (14, one behind Evan Porter), tied Danny Rombley for 4th in hits (56), tied for 10th in RBI and was 7th in average (between Zerzinho Croes and Bryan Engelhardt).

In 2013 Austin was signed to play his third season with UVV and had visa issues in The Netherlands . He then signed with Borgerhout Squirrels in the Belgian First Division where they lost in the finals to the Brasschaat Braves. During that season Borgerhout won the 2013 European Cup Qualifier in Antwerp against the Diving Ducks from Austria . Austin's brother Jordan also played on the team for a small portion of the season and the European Qualifier. For the First Division season, he hit .337/.477/.554 with 34 runs and 21 RBI in 22 games. He tied Sim Ruts for 6th in the league in runs, tied for 6th in OBP and tied for 7th with 12 steals.
