Biographical Information[edit]

Agnel Miranda has been on the Puerto Rican national team.

He spent two years at Wabash Valley College then was 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA as a junior at Southeastern in 2024. He made Puerto Rico's team for the 2024 Premier 12, making one appearance. He got the start against the Dutch national team, a woeful day for Puerto Rico as they allowed 20 runs in 7 innings in a mercy rule rout; Miranda took the loss to Tom de Blok. He began the game allowing a Didi Gregorius homer, struck out Jonathan Schoop and then yielded a Hendrik Clementina dinger. He got the other Schoop brother, Sharlon Schoop, before Juremi Profar singled. Miranda retired Denzel Richardson to end the inning. Down 2-1 to open the second, he got his last out, facing Ray-Patrick Didder. After Dwayne Kemp doubled and Delano Selassa walked, he gave way to Ojani Chacón, who let both runners score. [1]
